HESP Picnic

Our 2004 summer picnic was held on Saturday, July 24th at Overlook Park, Monroeville, PA.

Mid 70s temperatures and sunny skies allowed another great afternoon for our picnic activities.

The park provided many sports activities such as: volleyball, basketball, tennis, deck hockey, softball, soccer and a children’s playground.

The pavilion location allowed for a great view of the field activities, along with the moonwalk, bouncy boxing and water balloon sling shots.

The magician, Jay Brenner, provided an enjoyable show, including many balloon shapes for the children.

Hanlon’s Cafe provided a delicious dinner which included ribs, chicken, Italian sausage and corn on the cob. Many side dishes were provided by our committee members.

Blue Bunny ice cream treats were the ‘‘all day desserts.’’

Thanks go out to all our vendors who provided door prizes for the 84 attendees:
