The program will be held at Duquesne University's Fisher Hall Conference Center, starting at 7:30 a.m. Parking, lunch and materials will be included in your registration cost. This year's topics are fire pump operation and maintenance and air filtration. The cost and further registration information will be available shortly. [See Education.]

Picnic: Bruce Saddler -- Bruce reminded us that this year's picnic will be on Saturday, July 24th at Overlook Park, which is approximately one mile behind the Monroeville Mall. Bruce has arranged a caterer and soliciting ideas for activities and for volunteers to work on this committee. Activities at this family event will include a moon walk, "bouncy boxing" and a magician. Information will be mailed out in late June.

Christmas In April: Chuck Froetschel & Linda Cardello -- This year's project took place on April 24, 2004, and was sponsored by Siemens and Cardello Electric along with The Builder's Exchange and the Carpenter's Union This was a light project at a house located in Green Tree. Renovations included a new electric service, rewiring and the installation of a dedicated line to the homeowner's oxygen system. Thanks to all who participated in this worthwhile project.

Holiday Party: Chuck Froetschel -- Chuck reminded us that this year's holiday party will be on Friday, December 10 at the American Serbian Club, downstairs. The theme will be a Monte Carlo night with games of chance, slots, poker, roulette, and a crap table. No money will be involved; we will be using tickets given out at the door. We will be using our regular caterers and "spirits dispensers," Chuck wants to lowe the cost and have it at a more central location..

Respectfully submitted,
Frank Rutledge.
