October's Meeting Sponsor
HESP extends its thanks and appreciation to:
Beckwith
Power Systems. The following synopses were submitted.
The presentation covered PointGuard which is
an on-site monitoring and data management service offered
exclusively through Beckwith and the Caterpillar dealer organization.
The PointGuard solution, which was officially launched through
North America Cat dealers earlier this year has been effectively
utilized in hundreds of applications involving on-site assets
including gen-sets, switchgear and UPS systems in everything
from Standby to Cogeneration applications. The system can
offer data through the PointGuard WebCenter of be a compliment
of existing BMS & SCADA systems. Users appreciate the
peace of mind that comes from the constant monitoring of key
asset parameters, the ability to easily access the on-site
asset information collected and such value-added services
as fuel dispatch, alarm response and report generation.
