Business Meeting Minutes
Call to Order: President-Elect, Dan Procupp, called the meeting to order at 5:15
P.M. Dan introduced our sponsor for the evening, Grainger, who was having a
mini trade show. Attendees visited each table to get acquainted with the
vendor and their products. Vanessa Kostic, Grainger, introduced each sponsor,
who gave a brief statement.

At the conclusion of the mini trade show, many GREAT prizes were given away
based on a drawing that awarded those who visited each and every vendor.
Business Meeting: Dan called the meeting to order at 7:46 P.M. The minutes of
the January 2006 meeting were approved as printed. The attendance for this
evening's meeting was as follows: 28 hospital members; 27 associate members;
and 26 guests. The actual count was 103.
Treasurer's Report: Dick Barker -- Dick read the Treasurer's report. It was
approved as read. The 50/50 raffle was drawn. Arthur J. Probola won $105.00
New Members: No new members were approved this evening.
Guests: We had a great group of guys from Allegheny General Hospital, Thanks
Guys!
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Education: Michael Bryer -- No Report.
Newsletter: Ron Lukcic -- Ron thanked all of our advertisers and stressed that
the deadline for corrections will be this Friday. As usual, Ron is looking for
articles of interest and/or humor for the newsletter.
Codes and Regulations: Bill Brooks -- No Report.
ASHE: No Report.
Biomed: Dan Procupp -- No Report.
Membership: Brenda Henwood -- No report.
Holiday Party: Chuck Froetschel -- As previously stated, we will be looking for
a new theme for this year's holiday party. Chuck said that he is looking for
suggestions, ideas and volunteers for the party committee. See Chuck or look
for his contact information on the back of the newsletter.
Picnic: Bruce Saddler -- Bruce has set the date for the Washington Wild Things
game and tailgate party -- Saturday, July 15, 2006. We need to know who will
be attending by the 3rd week of June. Look for information in the mail by mid
May.
Web Site/Marketing: Alice Hoffmaster (The Write Design) -- Alice said she is
looking for articles of interest to put on the web site. Employment ads would
also be appreciated. Alice also asked that we go to the web site to confirm
registration for the newsletter.
Old Business: No Report.
New Business: Dan suggested that we form a committee to find vendors to sponsor
our meetings. He said that we are booked until September. See Dan or Roy to
help out with this worthwhile cause.
Adjournment: There being no further business, Dan adjourned the meeting at 8:14.
