Chuck recently drove there to look at it and announced that the officers of HESP agreed to forego their holiday awards this year and donate the money to this project. We are looking at parliamentary figures for material at approximately $5,000 to $7,000. For additional information on the center, go to the web site: WWW.268CENTER.COM.

NEW BUSINESS: Terry reminded us that we are still looking for a President-Elect who will serve as President in 2009. Terry said that this is a fun and rewarding position with lots of help from the board and the membership. Anyone who would like to run for this position is asked to contact Terry or any other board members whose contact information is available on the back of the publication or on the web site.

Also, after many years of dedicated service, Dick Barker will be retiring as treasurer and we will need someone else to fill in by 2009...at the latest. Persons interested in this opportunity are also requested to contact one of the board members.

Terry also pointed out that we are in need of sponsors. January's meeting remains open. January's meeting has been moved to January 8th, the SECOND Tuesday of the month, since the 1st Tuesday falls on New Year's Day.

Matt Szanca announced that NAPE, National Association of Powers Engineers, has
moved its meetings to The Carnegie Library of Homestead located at 510 East 10th Avenue, front entrance. Matt said that he will post NAPE information on the web site. Thanks, Matt, for all of your hard work.
