Pennsylvania, otherwise known as HESP, is a professional association
comprised of hospital Engineers and Biomedical services professionals
in the Pittsburgh area. Our membership also includes professionals
from Nursing home facilities, and most recently, Universities
in Southwestern PA.

The HESP Newsletter is Now Available Online!
 We call it the HESP Newsletter...HESP members might know it as "the little green book" that you receive in the mail each month. In the past, we've placed the meeting minutes and speaker notes in our newsletter section on this website. Now, we are making the entire newsletter available to you online. It's nice to know if you can't find your newsletter, you can visit the website, look at it, or print it yourself!
In addition to keeping our membership informed on HESP events, the HESP Newsletter is a great resource guide for hospital-related products and services. Feel free to download it and pass it on to someone you think will benefit from reading it.

HESP Special Projects is Under Way...
HESP individuals have been known to give generously of their time and our corporate members have graciously donated equipment and other items to disaster relief and community outreach programs. Our special project for this year involves building a much needed pavilion at the Mechling-Shakley Veterans Center near Kittanning. The primary mission of the Mechling-Shakley Veterans Center is to provide a community-based residential treatment facility for homeless veterans needing rehabilitation and support.
